What You Will Be Doing:
As a Banquet Captain, you will play a key role in ensuring flawless execution of hotel events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all details meet quality standards.
- Leading food and beverage service during functions to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Assisting in the planning, organization, and execution of events, including breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, receptions, and more.
- Supervising banquet staff to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and top-tier service.
- Responding promptly and courteously to guest requests to enhance their experience.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support the team and event success.
What We Are Looking For:
- A detail-oriented leader with a passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Four-year college degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years of banquet or food & beverage experience, with leadership experience preferred.
