What You’ll Do as Director of Sales & MarketingAs our Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll lead the charge in driving top-line revenue, energizing your team, and strengthening our position in the Bloomington market. You'll be the connector—building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering memorable guest experiences that keep clients coming back.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of Sales & Conference Services.
Take ownership of revenue performance across all segments, with direct accountability for specific market segments.
Craft and implement a strategic marketing plan that drives measurable growth—even in evolving environments.
Build and execute successful group, corporate, and catering sales initiatives.
Maintain close partnerships with the General Manager, revenue leaders, and Hilton Global Sales to align strategy and execution.
Inspire and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results.
Represent the hotel at key industry events, trade shows, and in the local community to enhance visibility and credibility.
Oversee social media and advertising campaigns to support brand positioning and engagement.

Requirements
Technical Skills:
Proven ability to create and execute profitable marketing and sales strategies.
Experience in hotel social media marketing and advertising.
Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt quickly based on performance metrics.
Strong proficiency in Hilton systems (OnQ, PEP, Delphi preferred).
Demonstrated excellence in revenue management, pricing strategy, and market positioning.
Leadership Skills:
Visionary leadership with the ability to motivate, train, and develop teams.
Clear, persuasive communicator with strong decision-making abilities.
Confident in managing change and aligning teams with business goals.
Passionate about service, hospitality, and team culture.
Business Acumen:
In-depth knowledge of the Bloomington market with established local relationships.
History of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and client follow-up.
Ability to balance client needs with hotel profitability and owner expectations.
Education & Experience:
Preferred: BA/BS in Hospitality Management or related field.
Required: Minimum 5 years of hotel sales leadership experience with a track record of success in group/corporate sales, social media marketing, and sales strategy.
Active member of industry sales organizations is a plus.
