What You’ll Be Doing
As the keeper of the night, you’ll:
- Balance and audit daily revenue from rooms, food and beverages, cashier reports, guest accounts, and more. Accuracy is your middle name!
- Create and transmit vital management and accounting reports that keep our hotel running like a dream.
- Be the go-to hotel system expert during night hours, assisting with everything from reservations to phone calls.
- Provide top-notch guest service by assisting with check-ins, delivering messages, and ensuring guests feel at home, even in the wee hours.
- Occasionally pitch in with other duties because teamwork makes the dream work.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Skills: Basic math, reading, and writing know-how.
- Flexibility: Nights, weekends, and holidays are your jam.
- Physical Stamina: Talking, hearing, interacting with guests, using your hands for precision, and standing for long periods doesn’t faze you.
- Strength: Frequently lift up to 10 pounds—those reports won’t deliver themselves!
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.
- 1-3 months of related experience or training—if you’ve rocked this role before, we’d love to hear from you!
