Are you a skilled hotel Director of Finance looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Area Director of Finance who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our financial and accounting operations

Rémunération: $125,000/Year plus Bonus

The HVMG-distinguished St. Louis Hilton and Marriott properties are on the lookout for an Area Director of Finance to join our team and drive excellence in financial management!

As the Director of Finance, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee The Pennywell, Homewood Suites-Galleria and TownePlace Suites Brentwood :

  • Manage cash flow efficiently and ensure accurate monthly financial statements.
  • Monitor hotel revenues and expenses while conducting insightful budget analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and operational taxes.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee accounting policies, internal controls, and audits.
  • Lead and develop our finance team through hiring, training, and supervision.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee to ensure seamless property operations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Timely batching of invoices in the MIS system and sending required reports to the corporate office.
  • Maintaining an organized filing system for Direct Bill accounts and financial documentation.
  • Handling workers' compensation and liabilities claims with accuracy and diligence.
  • Responding promptly to vendor and partner requests.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of hospitality finance/accounting experience, ideally in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel-specific systems.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
