What you will be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool area. Responsibilities include, but a not limited to;  Greeting guests and attending to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc. Maintain cleanliness of the pool area and equipment including; furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, cabanas, umbrellas, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc. Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize. Perform general Recreation duties, as needed such as:

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service To Every Guest, Including Information About Resort Services, Activities And Local Attractions
  • Collect And Replenish Pool Towels And Monitor Inventory To Minimize Loss
  • Ensuring Towels Are Stocked And Dirty Towels Are Removed.
  • Maintain Cleanliness Of The Fitness Center And Activities Center
  • Physically Able To Work From Ladders, Move Furniture, Operate Cleaning Equipment, And Tolerate Exposure To General Cleaning Chemicals.
  • Ability To Push And/Or Pull Equipment Weighing Up To 50 Lbs. With Or Without Reasonable Accommodation.
  • Perform Other Duties As Required

Requirements

Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some laundry experience preferred.  You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
