What You'll Be Doing

As our Banquet Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing our dynamic Banquet department. Your main mission will be to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and profitability. Here's just a taste of what you'll be doing:

• Lead and direct the activities of our talented banquet staff, ensuring their highest level of performance.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines and adjust accordingly to actual business conditions. We want you to make smart decisions!
• Create and conduct effective training programs to enhance the expertise of our staff and elevate the service we provide to our guests.
• Select, develop, and appraise our banquet employees, all while ensuring they consistently meet our uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.
• Get your creative juices flowing by developing attractive table settings, coffee break set-ups, buffets, and more. We want every event to be memorable!
• Implement policies and controls to ensure smooth banquet operations, covering everything from service standards to safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate with our Sales & Catering Department to establish goals, analyze financial reports, and implement service and cost-saving ideas.
• Maintain accurate records, resolve guest complaints, and be the go-to person for any food-related problems.
• Communicate effectively with our banquet staff, other hotel departments, and guests to ensure seamless event execution.
• Train staff on safety, security, and sanitation procedures, because we take the well-being of our team and guests seriously.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and other communications as needed. Your words matter!

What You'll Bring to the Table

We're looking for someone with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of success. Here are some qualifications we're seeking:

• One (1) year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Show us what you've got!
• A minimum of Two (2) - Four (4) years of experience as a Banquet Manager in a similar size establishment. We want someone who knows the ins and outs of banquets!
• Hotel Banquet Experience is highly preferred. We love someone who understands the unique challenges and opportunities in our industry.
• One (1) - Two (2) years of supervisory experience with at least 10 direct reports. We're looking for a natural leader!
