Hotel Front Desk Agent
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael Marin County, San Rafael, CA
The functions of this position are:
Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room key.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Recognize our Honors guests appropriately.
Post charges to guest accounts.
Make and confirm reservations. Uses suggestive selling skills and company sales programs to maximize revenue and occupancy levels.
Post cash and credit card payments and balances all shift work.
Insure that incoming calls to the switchboard are answered within six rings.
Must respond to a guest request within 10 minutes of time request was made.
Greet customers immediately upon entering the lobby.
Give directions both within the building and to local attractions, restaurants, etc.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in customer service position.
