We have an excellent hotel sales opportunity at our property that reports the General Manager. We're looking for someone who has 3-5 years or more hotel sales management experience.
Primary responsibility is monthly/annual group business. Major group markets include SMERF, Group Tour and assisting with local regional corporate. Along with General Manager, is a liaison within the community. Participate with the General Manager and Area Director of Sales and Marketing in developing overall hotel business and marketing plan, advertising, public relations, or sales promotional programs.
Administer, supervise and analyze all marketing, sales objectives and goals developed through the "Marketing Plan" or specified by the General Manager.
Submit required monthly/quarterly/annual reports to General Manager and Area Director of Sales & Marketing.
Participate with the General Manager and Executive Chef in developing and executing programs to promote food and beverage. Also, promote the Spa and Golf Course where possible.
Develop and/or supervise all follow-up correspondence to clients, concentrating on professionalism and standards and replying in a timely manner.
Conduct weekly sales and marketing staff meetings.
Local community involvement as it benefits the hotel via approved memberships in organizations.
May supervise a part time Sales Coordinator.
Education/Skills: High School Diploma or GED. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint. SalesPro a plus.
