What you will be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for escorting incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage, and offer information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions. Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, and how to place telephone calls. Delivers messages and runs errands. Picks up articles for laundry and valet service. Delivers packages, suitcases, and trunks. Assist with group luggage requirements, etc. Greet arriving guests/visitors; bid farewell to departing guests/visitors and invite them to return. Assist guests and visitors into and out of their vehicles. Provide legible claim tickets to guests for their luggage. Take possession of and park vehicle. Document location of vehicles parked in parking facility. Ensure security of vehicle and its keys.

Requirements

Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some laundry experience preferred.  You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, and working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.

Education & Experience

• Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
