What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Greet arriving guests/visitors; bid farewell to departing guests/visitors and invite them to return. Assist guest with their skis/snowboards and boots. Storing their items with the correct protocol. In the mornings, if there is new snow, you will help the guests by taking the snow off their cars.
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some laundry experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, and working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
Education & Experience
- Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
